Charlotte Douglas International Airport established a Secondary PCC Slab Replacement Program. This program will include the rehabilitation and replacement of various airfield Portland Cement Concrete pavement slabs that will be identified by the Owner on an as needed, Task Order basis.

The West Ramp Dual Taxilanes Paving and Lighting Project consists of grading, drainage, paving, and electrical work items to provide the capability to taxi two aircraft simultaneously around the west perimeter of Concourse A.  Work includes pavement demolition, grading, airfield Portland cement concrete (PCC) pavement, asphalt shoulder paving, pavement marking, drainage structures, reinforced concrete pipe installation, cure-in-place (CIPP) lining, airfield lighting, signage, and ductbanks.

Zachry Construction was awarded the San Marcos Regional Airport Taxiway Improvement Project which includes a rehabilitation of Taxiways C, A, E & F requiring enhancements to the concrete and asphalt pavement structures, pavement markings, and electrical lighting including 63 new taxiway edge lights and 7 taxiway guidance signs.

Zachry Construction will build a temporary tug access road to provide access during phase two construction removing 7,250sy of existing asphalt and construct a new concrete apron (16,050SY) over 2 phases, and install five new drainage runs and new airfield lighting at the Hartnett County Jetport in Erwin, NC.

Zachry Construction will perform rapid reconstruction panel replacement and partial depth repairs on runway and taxiway at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport in Raleigh, NC.

Concrete taxiway connectors at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport in Greer, SC. Zachry Construction is a concrete paving subcontractor to Rogers Group.

Construct new taxiways, extend existing taxiways, construct jet blast fence, install storm drain, and upgrade airfield lighting and signals.

Zachry was awarded the expansion of the Asheville Regional Airport’s South Terminal apron from the City of Asheville. The project is to fill in an area below the existing apron, build a retaining wall, reconstruct an employee parking lot below the retaining wall, install parking lot and apron mast lighting, and add apron edge lights along the perimeter of the new apron.
