Zachry Construction built continuous frontage roads and new main lanes with three new overpasses at the intersections of Texas State Highway Loop 1604 and Wiseman Blvd, Military Drive and Potranco Road in San Antonio, TX for the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). The project was located in one of the fastest growing areas of San Antonio.
The project took incredible teamwork and coordination. It was constructed in three main phases and brought in more than 750,000 cubic yards of fill material to raise the main lanes at the intersections. By eliminating the at-grade intersections and stoplights, this work transformed traffic on the growing west side. Dirvers are enjoying faster and safer commutes between work and home.
